DeForest Jr. of Newark Valley, New York, born in Mount Upton, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gertrude Gage, Olin, Alfred and Sheldon DeForest; and his pet Lexi.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Locke; his children, Carol Rhodes (Rory), Robert DeForest III (Kim) and Michele La Comb (Stanley); his grandchildren, Trevor Rhodes (Lauren), Tyler Rhodes, Jamie Heiman (Dylan), Emily DeForest, Rachel DeForest, Robert DeForest, Jennifer La Comb (Michael Bovier) and Jeffrey La Comb; his great grandchild Ethan Heiman; and his sister Jane Sheldon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
