He is survived by: his wife Loretta Lynn Kochel; his parents, Linda Kochel and Richard Earl; his stepmother Peggy Kochel; his children, Kyle Kochel (Hannah), Michael Kochel, David Huettner and Shawn Degler (Crystal); his brothers, Todd Rhine, Christopher Rhine, Matthew Kochel, Shawn Kochel and Ryan Kochel (Kristen); his grandson Alex Degler; and his friend Deborah Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
