He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Chandler and Linda Chandler (Elliott); and his brother John Chandler. He is survived by: his close friend Melissa Wheeland; his children, Marissa Chandler (Dylan Ayers), Max Chandler and Ryan "Cookie" Chandler; his grandchildren, Hayden, Gabriella, Julianna and Ellyannah Ayers; his stepfather Don Swansbrough Sr.; his siblings, Dixie Settle, Robin Swansbrough (Roger), Richard Chandler (Lucky), Mike Forker, Don Swansbrough Jr. (Tracey), Ruth, Frank Wheeland, Christina Furman (Les), Beverly Wheeland (Roger) and Tamara Groover (Mike); his brother-in-law Steven Mattscheck; his close friend Eric Bowen; and his pets, Molly and Willow.
