It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Elaine Singer (Newark Valley, New York), who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Severson and Chrystal Severson (Johnson); her brothers, Melvin Severson and Lee Severson; and her siblings-in-law, John, Shirley Singer, Wayne and Madeline Singer.
She is survived by: her husband Evans Singer; her daughter Lori Gale (Pratt); her grandchildren, Lindsey Teeter and Daniel Gale (Erin); her stepchildren, Edward Singer (Brandi) and Martha Hernandez (Gerardo); her sister Kay Singer (Ken); her nephew Richard Severson (Lisa); her nieces, Lisa Severson and Holly Davidson (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Gary Singer (Pat), Linda Rockwell and Nancy Coddington. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley (40 Whig St, Newark Valley, NY 13811). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
