With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine I. Sherman D'Andrea of Newark Valley, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Katherine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Katherine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Kenneth" Shiner and Emma Shiner (Campbell); and her husband Nicholas D'Andrea. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanine Sherman-Komar (Chuck) and Becky Sherman-Wade; and her grandchildren, Shelby Wade-Villarrubia (Austin) and Craig Wade (Lisa Bullis).
