Jane Lee Wurtenberg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jane Lee Wurtenberg of Newark Valley, New York. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jane Lee Wurtenberg to show support.
As we bid adieu to Jane Lee's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jane Lee has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother-in-law Edward G. Katchuk; her parents, Raymond C. Wurtenberg and Hilda E. Wurtenberg; her siblings, John R. Wurtenberg, David R. Wurtenberg, MaryLou Katchuk and Marjorie; and her brother-in-law Paul Purple (Iva Smith). She was also cherished by her eight nieces and nephews.
Jane was given the President's Volunteer Lifetime Service Award for donating more than 4, 000 hours of her time volunteering with the American Red Cross.
