He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bowen and Clarinda Bowen; his wives, Treva Bowen and Barbara Bowen; and his siblings, Richard, Robert, Ronald, Thomas, Lawrence, Lois and Betty.
He is survived by: his sister Margie Keith; his children, Carol Lasell of Vestal, Patti Hurst (Michael) of Vestal, James Bowen (Laurie Haskell) of Vestal, Michael Bowen of Vestal and Jeffrey Bowen (Marcelle) of Vestal; and his grandchildren, Amanda Ross (Jack), Matthew Hurst (Krystle) and Amber Taylor (Michael). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
