It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter R. Krefetz in New York, New York, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Krefetz and Minnie Krefetz (Cohen). He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Joshua (Diana) and Rachel Fyall (Chris); and his siblings, Elliott (Sharon) and Sarazita (late Gerald). He is also survived by his four granddaughters.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Agudat Achim Cemetery (100 Mt Stuart Rd, Schenectady, NY 12304). During the pandemic, he and JoAnn moved from their longtime home in Niskayuna to Albany.
