We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, Thomas Meyer of New York, New York, born in Callicoon, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Penny (Ketzak); and his father Eugene. He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Burleson of Maryville, TN, Katrina Couch (Adam) of Memphis, TN, Joe Meyer of Callicoon, NY and Stephanie Cook (Mike) of Maryville, TN; his stepdaughters, Jenny of Binghamton, NY and Sara Ketzak of Binghamton, NY; his grandchildren, Gabby, Mason, Madilyn, Isabelle, Colton, Bailey and Brady; his mother Mildred (Niessen) of Hankins, NY; and his brothers, David (Nanette) of Yorktown, VA, Steven (Jenny) of West Windsor, NY and John (Sheri) of Hankins, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Family (3600 Phyllis St, Endicott, NY 13760). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association (in Memory of Penny) or the New York State Trooper Foundation.
