He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Madeleine Bither, Thomas (YaYun), James (Carey) and Teresa Quigley (Frank); his wife Teresa of County Clare, Ireland.; his son John Joseph; his son-in-law Steven Bither; and his parents, John Cahill and Catherine Cahill (Gilmour). He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as several cousins in Scotland and many nieces and nephews.
