He was predeceased by: his parents, Chen Jin Tu (Kuo Chiung Hsiun) and Ted; and his grandfather Shilin. He is survived by: his children, Constance Marian Chen and David Theodore Chen; and his granddaughters, Ava and Zoe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home (1076 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10028). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In 1976, the family spent a sabbatical year at the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC.
