We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, at the age of 54, Stephanie B. Carney of New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Stephanie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her father Alton Carney. She is survived by: her mother Elsie Spruill Carney of New York; her siblings, Steven Carney of New York and Sheryl Carney-Perez of Auburndale, FL; and her stepmother Rita Carney of Bethel, NC. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Heaven Church (311 2nd St, Princeville, NC 27886).
