She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Gallagher; her husband John Vega; her mother Sarah Gallagher; and her sisters, Brigid Gallagher (Margaret Joseph) and Mary Celeen Gallagher.
She is survived by: her daughter Shawna Gallagher Vega; and her siblings, James (Bernie), Terry (Pat), John Gallagher (Ronnie Berlin) and Kathleen Scheidler (Ralph). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Xavier High School Chapel (30 W 16th St, New York, NY 10011).
