As Ruth Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruth Ann. Though Ruth Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Sherblom and Lu Lu Sherblom. She is survived by: her spouse Gasper Accardi of Reader's Digest; and her daughters, Debbie Grewer (Paul), Cindy Hearn (Mike), Dawn Accardi (Kenny) and Holly Accardi-Theohary. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (3270 Franklin Ave, Millbrook, NY 12545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clove Cemetery (9 Clove Valley Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12540).
