Ross; his children, Jane H. Backus (Mark) of Mexico, NY, Juliann H. Cliff (Lee) of Ogdensburg, NY, Patrick E. Hackett, Jr. (Lori) of Ogdensburg, NY and Eileen H. Simmons (Roy III) of Fayetteville, NY.; his grandchildren, Michael C. Backus (Andrea) of Mexico, NY, Robert P. Backus (Michelle) of Maryland, Jacob P. Hackett, Chelsea M. Hackett of Ogdensburg, Roy D. Simmons IV of Syracuse, NY, Ryan P. Simmons of California and Pat; his great grandchildren, Madelynne K. and Joseph A. Backus of Mexico; his siblings, Edward B. Hackett (Ned) and Mary A. Hackett Sperzel; and also, Charles and Emmet. He is also survived by cousins and several nieces and nephews.
