He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyndel Stubbs and Gladys Stubbs; and his son Marcus Lee Stubbs. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Sharita, Marc (Chevon), Denise, Christopher, British and Brailun; his grandchildren, Ethan and Asher; and his siblings, Karen, Melinda, David (Na) and Randel (Tracey). He is also survived by father figure to his siblings and extended family.

Many of the children honored and respected him because of his, charity and benevolence towards them.
