It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen T (Zonge) Fitzgerald of New York, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Zonge and Frieda Zonge (Haase); and her close friends, Pam D'Alcorn and Ethel Fite (Jenny). She is survived by: her children, Patricia Paisley (Bruce) of Houghton Lake, Scott Fitzgerald (Kari) of Whitmore Lake and Kathleen Kross (Kip) of Birch Run; her grandchildren, Amanda Rytlewski (Dan), Samantha, Olivia Fitzgerald, Carley Kross and Matthew Kross; her great grandchildren, Braelyn, Brystal and Bryar Rytlewski; her pet Joey; her cousins, Herbie, Zonda and Kim Haase; and her close friends, Katie Baese, Bill, Evelyn Bell, Ralph, Daina Barthel, Robert Fite, Art, Lorri Palmer and Becki Rau-Love.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Zion Lutheran Church, Freeland, St. Jude's Children Hospital and Love Light Trees at My Michigan Health, Midland or the donor's favorite charity.
