She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Terri Hicks Barker (Thomas) of Tallapoosa, Georgia, Donna Hicks of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kim Hicks-Wilkins of Millville, Michael Hicks of Thailand, Kelli Hicks-Ringgold of Douglasville, Georgia and Staci Hicks of Randallstown, Maryland.; and her siblings, Gloria Jenkins (Pete), Derek K. Cason and Ricardo Tucker. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. James A. M. E. Church (2010 5th Ave #1, New York, NY 10035). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Atlantic City Cemetery.
