Horacia Ortiz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 92, Horacia Ortiz (New York, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Zaida (Ricardo), Judy, Margie (Danny), Nancy, Noemi'Cookie' (Robert), Freddy (Barbara) and Carmelo Jr.'Rosco' (Rosemarie); her stepdaughter Nereida (Zaida Milagros); her grandchildren, George, Melissa (David), Valeria'Negrita', Natasha, Justin (Kristen), Andrew, Joseph (Leeana), Michael, Adrian and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Ciarra, Selena and Elijah.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Provenzano Lanza Funeral Home (43 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Most Holy Redeemer Church (173 E 3rd St, New York, NY 10009). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379).
