With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel L. Spencer in New York, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayes U. Shelton and Flora Bard Shelton; and her siblings, Wallace Shelton, Ernest Shelton, Herman Shelton, David Shelton and Thelma Shelton Leggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie J. Spencer and Sandra J. Spencer; her grandchildren, Isaiah W. Figueroa, Akilah A. Figueroa, Aleah Y. Figueroa and Anisia A. Figueroa; her great grandchild Terrence J. Patrick-Jenkins; and her siblings, Lawrence Shelton (Jaunita), Walter R. Shelton, Hayes L. Shelton (Barbara) and Lauretta Shelton Allen (Charles). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home (262 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel Service Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home (262 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (304 Lexington Ave, Mt Kisco, NY 10549).
