With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Williams (New York, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Williams; and his sister Mary Ann Powell. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Uzzell-Williams; his daughters, Bernadette Darby (Marlon) of Greensboro, NC, Cynthia Williams and Catrina Meares of Clinton, NC; his siblings, Martha Williams and Michael Williams of Brooklyn, NY; his brother-in-law Christopher Uzzell of Manhattan, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Toni Williams, Yvette Williams-Lawson (Michael), Melissa Uzzell, Sammy Williams (Jenel), Dwight Williams (Faustina), Alan Williams (Denise) and Jermaine Powell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
