We bid farewell to David J. Flanagan in New York, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2025 at the age of 52. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Una Flanagan (Delaney) and John Desmond Flanagan; his siblings, John and Helen (Bill); his daughter Eva Hurley Flanagan; his girlfriend Alexandra Byrne; his close friends, Dessy Rushe and Kevin Power; and his pet Freddy.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mount Auburn Cemetery (580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
