We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Economos of New York, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Athanasios Giannaros and Kalianthi Giannaros; her grandson Christopher; her sister Erifili; her son-in-law Nicholas; and her niece Katherine.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Alexandra; her daughters, Helen and Alexandra; her granddaughter Michelle (George); her great grandchild Nicholas; her granddaughters, Amanda (Nick) and Elizabeth; her brother Demetrios (Athena); and her children, Anna, James, Constantine, Arthur, Karen and Nicholas. She is also survived by sister-in-law.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild and Sons Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Archangel Michael G. O. Church (100 Fairway Dr, Port Washington, NY 11050). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Michaels Cemetery (72-02 Astoria Blvd S, Flushing, NY 11370).
