He was predeceased by: his parents, Simone Ciavattoni and Maria Ciavattoni; his wife Mary Ciavattoni; his son John; and his daughter-in-law Linda.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Cindy) and Anthony (RoseMarie).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (53 St. Patricks Place, Staten Island, NY 10306).
Before his contributions to the engineering field, Tony served with honor and courage as a police officer in Rome, Italy, and is a Korean War veteran of the United States Army, embodying the virtues of duty and bravery.
