She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Nieves; and her children, Jose Enrique and Marylin. She is survived by: her siblings, Varo, Rene and Gloria; her children, Maria, Sonia, Miriam and Moises; her grandchildren, Jorge, Alberto, Omar, Adianez, Christopher, Stephanie, Cathy, Cassandra, Bianca, Jasmin and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Deana, Briana, Joshua, Jocelyn, Amira, Darnell, Darien, Christian, Amora, Atticus and Jem.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org , an organization that leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
