She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gardner and Ruth Gardner (Roberts); and her siblings, Jack Gardner, David Gardner, Marjorie Steinman and Rosemarie Bronk.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Gaines; her sons, Dean Gardner (Sue) of Clinton and Thomas Gaines Jr. (Ruth) of Yorkville, NY; her brother Lewis Gardner of Whitesboro, NY.; her grandchildren, Mary Gardner, Lisa Gardner, Patricia Smith and Stanley Jubis; and her great grandchild Logan Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
