With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Barry of New York Mills, New York, born in Taylor, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barry and Olga Barry (Wilchenski); his wife Helen; and his siblings, John, Edward, Helen and Beverly.
He is survived by: his daughter Arlene; his son-in-law Stephen Misiaszek of Florida; his son Joseph Barry Jr.; his close friend Wendy Luton of New York Mills; his grandchildren, Stephen Misiaszek (Tracy), Kristy Misiaszek, Lisa Voci, Daniel Barry and Melissa Faga (Chris); his daughter-in-law Joy Barry; his pet NaJune; and his grandson Jason Barry. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
