He was predeceased by: his father Frank Theodore Vaas. He is survived by: his mother Sarah J. Vaas; his wife Babette; his daughter Karly; and his brothers, Tim Vaas (Julie) and Todd Vaas (Ginger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
