He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Hirt and Thomas Hirt; and his father-in-law Robert Thorp. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hirt (Thorp); his children, Kyle Hirt (Lisa) of New Woodstock, Andrew Hirt (Nichole) of Redwood, NY and Mallory Polisse (Kyle) of Hemlock, NY; his grandchildren, Abigail, Maggie, Hudson and Avery; his brothers, Richard Hirt (Mary) and Timothy Hirt; his mother-in-law Beverly Thorp; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa Richardson (Don) and Robin Woodworth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
