He is survived by: his partner Alan Ellingsen; his parents, Robert E. Miller and Barbara D. Miller; his brother Gregg Miller (Karen); his nephew Matthew Miller; his niece Ashley Stark; his sister Jennifer Miller Novak; his nephews, Michael and Robert Novak; his uncle Kenneth J. Miller; and his pets, Cody and Bella.

“I as everyone am heartbroken from the loss of Scotty. those who know him can agree he just gave and gave his entire life and never wanted. Truly the biggest heart there is. Even as we age we lose touch for periods having them always in your heart and memories helps. He is truly an example I wish we could all follow as empathetic, accepting of all and giving without thinking of himself is truly remarkable part of him I embrace and try my best to follow. Loved so much! Love you Scotty!”
