With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roy G. DeWitt of New Windsor, New York, born in Ozone Park, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna DeWitt and Roy DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Dolores of New Windsor, NY; his children, Diane Trifilio (Rob) of Walden, NY and Roy A. DeWitt (Kirsten) of Pine Bush, NY; his brothers, Robert G. DeWitt (Joyce) of Warwick, NY and John DeWitt of Jeffersonville, PA; his grandchildren, Tyler Trifilo, Gillian DeWitt and Peyton DeWitt; his brother-in-law Tom Wolf (Claire); his cousins, Evelyn Nazzaro and William Trimble; and his friends, Sadie, Rudy Schade, Diane, Fred Koch, Carla and Vinnie Orsino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home (515 NY-32, Highland Mills, NY 10930). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home (515 NY-32, Highland Mills, NY 10930). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cemetery of the Highlands (634-640 NY-32, Highland Mills, NY 10930).
