He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hovey and Laura Hovey (Bone) of Tupper Lake, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Hovey (Joly); his sons, Michael Hovey (Lori) of Colorado, Richard S. Hovey (Kathleen) of New Windsor, NY and Doug Hovey (Julie) of Newburgh, NY; and his grandchildren, Sam, Kimberly, Emily, Ryan and Laura.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence.
