He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Plaviak and Pauline Plaviak (Melillo); and his stepson Arthur Malagoli, Jr. (Michael). He is survived by: his pets, Yankees, Jets and Devils of New Jersey; his girlfriend Carol A. Malagoli; his children, Pauline Noto (Anthony) of New Windsor, NY, Nicole Colarte (Plaviak) of New Windsor, NY and Michael L. Plaviak, Jr. (Holly) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Anna Marie, Nicolette Plaviak, Michael, Sophia Colarte, Nicole and Lilliana Noto; his stepgranddaughter Amber Malagoli; his stepgreat-grandson Vance Malagoli; and his sisters, Roseanne Hughes (Jack) of Monsey, NY and Laraine Marra (Artie) of New City, NY.. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
