It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Lake of New Windsor, New York, who passed away on February 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon Lake to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Lake and Helen Graham Lake; his daughters, Joni (Paul Mongelli, Sr.) and Robin (Jim Kus); his grandchildren, Paul Mongelli, Jr. (Jill), Amanda Arestin, Brandon Grant, Carly Mongelli, Nicole Smolenski, Rachel Phipps, Georgie Suttle, Mike Gaita and Samantha Suttle; his siblings, Edward, Sr. (Linda), Marion Patterson and Lynn Lake; his daughter Tammy (Mike Phipps, Sr.); his pet Bert; his siblings, Mae Monell, Wally, Bruce, Eric, Sally Helmrich and Susan Coonan; and his grandson Michael Phipps, Jr.. He was also cherished by 5 great-granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550).
