He is survived by: his parents, Edward C. Bates of Walden, NY and Melody A. Foris (Lewis) of Cornwall, NY; his wife Brenda Fay Cox; his aunts, Michelle Marchese and Maurine Edwards; his cousins, Crystal, Ashley Edwards, Casey and Richie Hilligas; his stepsisters, Aryn Bates and Laura Wickware; his close friend Heidi L. Mickel; and his friend Aimee Bertero-Davis.
Due to the public health concerns of the Corona Virus (Covid-19), a Celebration of Jason's life will be held at a later date.
