He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McDonald and Leone McDonald; his daughter Linda McDonald; and his brothers, James McDonald and Jerry McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine McDonald of Newburgh, NY.; his sons, Jan McDonald Jr. (Richard F. McDonald), Ron J. McDonald (Linda) and James E. McDonald (Caroline); his daughter-in-law Ann McDonald; and his siblings, Joseph McDonald (Maryanne) and Jude Citterberg (Ron). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, NY or to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
