She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gegenheimer and Catherine Gegenheimer (McGrath); her husband James "Bud" O'Mara; her daughter Mary; and her sister Kathleen Kane.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen Potter (Joseph), Betsy O'Mara, John O'Mara (Mary) and Charles O'Mara (Gail); her grandchildren, Erin, Katie, Kelly, Casey, Jim, Catherine and Michael; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Michael Skrobanski, Kevin, Ryan, Kiersten O'Connor, Mabel-Grace Arrabito, James, Claire and Anna O'Mara; and also Kathy Kissel.
