She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Maria and Ramona Lago (Pitra); her children, Glisette Pineda of New Windsor and Jose Diaz; her grandson Jacob Pineda; her husband Radames Diaz; her grandsons, Joshua and Jacob A. Pineda; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Daniel, Nancy Lago, Renee, Yvette, Manuel and Yvonne Franceschi.
