She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Forrest A. Rowell and Marjorie Roberts Rowell; her brother Forrest "Bob" Rowell; and her niece Tracy Rowell. She is survived by: her grandchild Kyle; her husband Allen of New Windsor, NY; her children, Danielle D'Amato (Matt) of Pine Plains, NY and Kyle Bushey (Tara); and her siblings, Nancy Lewit (Peter), David Rowell, John Rowell, Susan Mellegard (Rick) of Arizona, Betsy Buckner (Doug) of California, Doug Rowell (Kerri) of Pennsylvania and Bruce Rowell (Donatella) of Italy. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gilda's Club Westchester and the LUNGevity foundation in Debbie's honor.
