She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Makarewicz and Josephine Makarewicz (Pikulski); her spouses, Francis T. Cardamone and Frank; her siblings, Helen Zilavy, Gertrude Reynolds, Stanley and John Makarewicz; and her granddaughter Dawn Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Mabie (Mabie) of Middletown, NY and Sally Ann Alessi (Joseph) of New Windsor, NY; her grandchildren, Denise, David, Daniel, Dean, Brian and Rebecca; and her siblings, Alice Cook and Edward Makarewicz. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
