He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Fanelli and Martha Fanelli; his daughter Kerrin Fanelli; and his brothers, David and Mark Fanelli.

He is survived by: his significant other Gail; his children, Bob Fanelli (Alyson), Brian Fanelli (Kerianne) and Laura Nelson (Scott); his grandchildren, Katherine, Michael, Christopher, Kyra, Emma and Grace; and his siblings, Jonathan, Joseph and Mary Claire Fanelli.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home (767 E Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck, NY 10543). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. John and Paul R. C. Church (280 Weaver St, Larchmont, NY 10538). A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
