He was predeceased by: his parents, Amodio and Filomena Brescia. He is survived by: his wife Gerarda; his children, Dominic (Keisha), Filomena (Michael) and Annamaria (Alex); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandria, Brittany, Dominic, Jr. and Gianna; and his great grandchildren, Melania and Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
