He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardo Zaccagnino and Caterina Zaccagnino; and his brothers, Joseph, Nicholas and Donato.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Morano; and his children, Edith Barasch (Robert), Leonard (Mala), Daniel (Rosie), Joan Giordano (Carmine), Thomas and Robert (Lisa). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
