He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Haydee Collado and José Collado; his sisters, Sonia Silva and Nancy Piscopo; his sons, Joseph Michael Collado, Jr. and Michael Joseph Collado; his former wife Elsa Castellanos; his wife Suzan Ortega; his daughters, Lisa (Haydee Elizabeth) and Annie (Adriana); his brother-in-law Michael Piscopo; his niece Jennifer (Jenna Socks); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison and Tyler; and his nephew Eric (Gumba). He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren from his two daughters.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc. (16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10805). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Jesus Church (70 Petersville Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801).
