He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Haydee Collado and José Collado; his sisters, Sonia Silva and Nancy Piscopo; his sons, Joseph Michael Collado, Jr. and Michael Joseph Collado; his former wife Elsa Castellanos; his wife Suzan Ortega; his daughters, Lisa (Haydee Elizabeth) and Annie (Adriana); his brother-in-law Michael Piscopo; his niece Jennifer (Jenna Socks); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison and Tyler; and his nephew Eric (Gumba). He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren from his two daughters.
