She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Sammarco and Rose Sammarco; her children, Angela Mulvey, Peter Acocella (Aaron Brown) of Sag Harbor and Andrew Acocella (Jane) of Redding, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, James, Aileen, Katherine Rose and Kristen; and her sister Mary Miceli. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.

In her memory, we recommend donating to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a cause close to her heart.
