She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Mandarano and Christina Mandarano; and her siblings, Nancy Sinopoli (Tony), Marie Accocella (Wally), Fanny Lanza (Joe), Pat Mandarano (Jean) and Hank Mandarano (Ceil).

She is survived by: her husband John K. Handy Jr.; her daughter Viola Marie Powrie (Thomas); and her brother Ted Mandarano (Pat). She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the New Rochelle Humane Society Mass of the Resurrection 10 AM Friday Sacred Heart Church, Dobbs Ferry.
