He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosmo "Gus" Romanello and Sophie Romanello (Malagrino); and his spouse Innocenta "Inez" Rosano of The Bronx. He is survived by: his children, George J., Paul (Michele), Stephen (Cammy) and Christina (James); his grandchildren, Max, Chesney Ann, Sara, Grace, Samantha and James; and his siblings, Nancy Sculco-Mercuri (Osvaldo Mercuri) and Thomas Sculco (Carol).
