With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Maio of New Rochelle, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Maio and Caroline Maio (Esposito). He is survived by: his brothers, William Maio (Toni) and Robert Maio (Pat); his niece Chrissy Connors; his nephews, Robert Maio, Anthony Maio, Daniel Maio, William Maio and Michael Maio; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sofia, Emilia, Evie, Logan and Henry; and his girlfriend Rosemary Martino.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Hawthorne Funeral Home (21 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (170 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
