With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angela Battaglia of New Rochelle, New York, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Angela had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Angela may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Antonio Cuzzocrea and Frances Cuzzocrea; her grandson Marc Anthony; her children, Anna Battaglia Piliero (Marc Terilli) and Joe Battaglia; and her grandchildren, Marc Anthony Piliero and April Piliero. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (64 Lincoln Ave, Village of Pelham, NY 10803). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
