With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alzira Chimento of New Rochelle, New York, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Augusto Monteiro and Aurinda Monteiro (Castro); and her husband Frank. She is survived by: her sons,
Frank Chimento (Anna Marie) and John Chimento (Sherran). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
